The Waggin’ Master Story
How the fun began…
According to my parents, my love for canine hospitality began as a young child when I traveled the neighborhood, unchaining dogs and coaxing them to follow me back to my house.
As a teenager I was so excited to take a summer job at a boarding facility. While my friends were playing - I was working and happy to do so! My mother always said to me: "When you have your own place, you can have all the pets you want".
Fast forward to March 1985: through the generosity of my father, I was able to realize my dream… Waggin' Master Boarding Kennel opened it's doors: Waggin' - as in happy tails; Master - as in we're excellent at caring for your pet.
The kennel has flourished through the years, as have the number of pets that call Waggin’ Master their second home.
In 1990 the addition of a premier Cattery was made to welcome feline guests.
It's been a remarkable 36 years with many thanks to my dedicated employees and to our customers who have entrusted us with the care and safety of their pets. The experience has greatly enriched my life. It has been a labor of love.
